    TWITTER: REINSTATED

Well, that didn't take very long.

Guy Adams is back on Twitter after the journalist had his account suspended over the weekend for including the email address of the NBC Olympics president in a tweet and asking his followers to write him to complain about the network's coverage.

Adams, the Los Angeles correspondent for British newspaper The Independent, announced his return on the social media website of course. He posted: "Oh. My Twitter account appears to have been un-suspended. Did I miss much while I was away?"

Adams went on to include part of an email from Twitter in subsequent posts, saying the complaint filed by NBC Sports had been retracted but offering no apology.
