Two men found dead in home in New Hope apartment Sunday

Two men were found dead in an apartment in New Hope Sunday afternoon, but police do not believe any foul play was involved.

Borough police said in a news release that they received a report that there may have been a problem at an apartment on Tow Path, commonly called Ney Alley, about 4:40 p.m. Sunday. Investigators were told there were possibly two dead men at the apartment.

When officers arrived, the apartment was found unlocked. Police found the two men in one of the bedrooms.

They appeared to have been dead for "some time," according to a police news release.

Neither men showed any apparent trauma or injuries. The cause of their deaths are still under investigation.

Bucks County Detectives are assisting New Hope police in the investigation.

Relatives of one of the men have not been located and their identities are being withheld until they may be notified.
