U.S. regulator restricts flights over Ferguson amid riots

(Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration on Monday evening issued a temporary flight restriction for Ferguson, Missouri as violent protests erupted after a grand jury decided not to indict a white police officer who shot dead a black teenager in August. The St. Louis County Police Department said in a Tweet that there was heavy automatic gunfire heard in Ferguson near the scene of the fatal police shooting.
