U.S. says Israeli spy Pollard should serve his full sentence

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department on Friday said it continues to maintain that Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard should serve his full 30-year sentence.

The statement is a denial of an earlier report from the Wall Street Journal that said U.S. officials were considering releasing Pollard before he is up for parole in November to soothe relations with Israel.
