How to find out what your Uber passenger rating is

One of the smart things about Uber (and Lyft, for that matter) is that the ratings system goes both ways. Not only can passengers rate drivers, but drivers can also rate passengers. Not only does this incentivize drivers to be friendly and accommodating, but it also ensures that Uber can prevent users who are consistently unruly or threatening from using the service.

While every Uber passenger can see the rating of whatever driver happens to be picking them up, Uber has historically made it exceedingly difficult for users to find out how they themselves rank.

While we’ve seen various hacks and work-arounds for users to find out their passenger rating in the past, Uber has finally created an official mechanism for users to find out just how pleasant and interesting they truly are.

Here’s how to do it.

Fire up the Uber app and hit the menu icon located in the upper left hand corner (it’s a circular silhouette of a person). Next, tap the ‘Help’ menu. Following that, tap the ‘Account’ menu.

From there, scroll all the way dow, tap on ‘I’d like to know my rating’, and then hit Submit. Uber will eventually email you your average passenger rating.
