UCLA Punter Adam Searl Arrested for Allegedly Raping a Woman in 2014
Adam Searl, a punter for the UCLA football team, was arrested yesterday and charged with three counts of rape stemming from an incident that allegedly took place back in October 2014.
According to TMZ Sports, Searl met a woman at an off-campus party in Westwood, Calif. and went to a nearby home with her. The woman claims that she fell asleep when they arrived at the home but that, when she woke up, Searl was raping her. An investigation began shortly after the alleged incident, and the woman later identified Searl as the man who raped her.
Searl has been released from police custody on $300,000 bail, however, he has been suspended from the UCLA team. Stay tuned for further details.
