UFC lightweight champion's mother takes up jiu-jitsu at 50-plus

SEATTLE - Fans backing lightweight challenger Nate Diaz better not cross UFC champion Benson Henderson's mother at the KeyArena on Saturday night.

Henderson's mom Song Henderson, a petite four-foot-nine Korean-American, has taken up jiu-jitsu.

"It's pretty funny," said Henderson, painting an image of his mom's little legs working on beginning sweep moves.

Song Henderson, who is 51 according to Benson's best guess, is also trying out kickboxing.

"It's cool, I like it," her son said.
