Uganda sees February coffee exports down 30 pct yr/yr

KAMPALA (Reuters) - Uganda said on Wednesday it saw its coffee exports falling 30 percent to 250,000 60-kg bags in February compared with the same month in 2014, due to dry weather in major harvesting areas. A source at the state-run Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) also said the country exported 310,829 60-kg bags of in January, down from 391,514 bags in the same month in 2014.
