UN: 4 peacekeepers killed and 1 injured in Darfur due to shots fired by 1 of the peacekeepers

The United Nations says four peacekeepers were killed and one injured in Darfur due to shots fired by one of the peacekeepers.

Kieran Dwyer, spokesman for the U.N. peacekeeping force, said Friday the joint U.N.-African Union peacekeeping mission in Darfur is investigating the incident.

He said there were no further details of the so-called "blue-on-blue" incident which took place Thursday at a peacekeeping site in Mukjar in West Darfur.
