I'm sorry if this offends some people, but it's high time that all those african nations learn to take care of themselves! Perhaps if the general adult population of these countries were to parctice birth control there wouldn't be a need for the world to support them! At least the animals of Africa have enough sense to not breed when times of draught and shortage of food cannot support an increase of their species, quite unlike the "human" population. The UN should be disbanded and the representatives and all their staff sent back to their respective countries. The building should be razed and a memorial erected on the site to remind the USA to never get involved in something like this corrupt organization ever again!

Feed them keep them healthy, so they can breed and you have the same problem year after year. Maybe if we weren't so fast to supply them with food they could become a country that stands on their own, and provides for themselves. Much like the U.S. we have taken care of generations of welfare addicts, anyone can need help from time to time but all their lives is a bit to much for me.

Yeah, I trust the U.N. like I trust a wolf to guard a rabbit. This is the same organization that was responsible for the "Oil for Food" scandal a few years back. It was the largest charity scandal in modern history, and many innocent Iraqis died as a result. All the money in the world cannot fix the hell Africa is in, until the corrupt warlords and politicians stop letting a good portion of food aid waste away in warehouses.

They could care less about them going hungry. They just want to start more wars and consolidate all resources. Try growing your own food as we did when we came to a country called America! Every time I watch a documentary on Africa, you always see the people sitting around doing nothing! What you think we will come and grow your crops? Gimme a break Africa...try growing food instead of killing each other and piracy!

Come on now.I remember way back when I was a child in the 60's they showed Africa needing food.This is 2012 and they still want a hand out.The only difference from then and now is the kids were eatting out of tin bowls and the TV was black and white.But now its in color and they are drinking out of plastic bowls. As long as there is a hand out they will keep humping and America will keep giving.

America has spent that much trying to help this nation! Sent tools and mechinery and spent years teaching them how to farm! It is time this nation makes it own their own! When the people that taught them left, they went right back to living likw they were before,refusing to farm!

I drive through towns in America see ruin down houses and old people that can not afford to fix them! Americans are losing their homes for local taxes! So be sure to send you own funds to Africa! Or better yet go change the politics there!

Let allah give them food! Teach them how to fish,don't give them fish! They spend all their their time praying to allah,when do they work? Must hardworking people always food the bills of their lazy compatriots who foolishly, don't want to know the value of time?

I wonder how the 'world' feels today without America inserting itself into every crisis. Even if we intervene for the affected people foreign corruption is uncontrollable.

Send birth control until if and when they can learn to sustain their citizens, I can't be the only one to come up with this logical solution. I guess no matter how hungry they are they will continue having sex. Who with even one brain cell would choose to have a child that would be hungry, poor, uneducated with no future if givin the choice?

I would rather help these people with foreign aid than give those Middle Eastern governments so much when they just help the terrorists behind our backs (Pakistan mainly). If I have to give money to other countries feeding the hungry is way better than promoting gay rights over seas (thanks Obama for using my tax dollars to win yourself votes).
