UNWHT Announces Plans for Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence Awareness Tour in Australia

NEW YORK, NEW YORK--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2014) - Human trafficking and sexual violence continues to plague the communities of developing nations and has escalated in developed nations as United States, Australia, and Brazil. United Nations War on Human Trafficking Association continues its pursuit to build awareness and support on the thematic cause by planning an awareness tour in Australia for 2015.

Cary Lee Peterson, President of UNWHT tells the press that he is happy to announce the first scheduled event for 2015 at Centre of Contemporary Arts in Cairns, Australia during the month of February and anticipates confirmations of other event dates in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth in the upcoming weeks.

UNWHT launched its awareness theme in Guam earlier this year with the first UNWHT awareness forum on human trafficking and sexual violence and has decided to proceed with building awareness and support programs in the Asia-Pacific region, in addition to scheduling awareness forums in West Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Canada, and United States during 2015.
