The dogs are here.

UPDATE: February 10, 2016 at 1:08 p.m.

The hot dogs are on their way. After testing the item in five markets across the U.S. last year, Burger King has announced that they're letting the dogs out later this month. The company partnered with Oscar Mayer to create a proprietary, 100% all-beef dog. This step will make BK the biggest restaurant seller of hot dogs in the country.

Yep, you read that right. Burger King, the fast-food company that crowns itself as the ruler of patties wants to start reigning supreme over hot dogs. Don't believe us? The chain started the frank mania in Japan, where they were served for breakfast-with ketchup, mustard, and relish no less!

Just now seeing their Stateside debut, the grilled and corn-fried dogs are being tested at locations in Michigan and Maryland. Corn dogs will set you back $1.49 while the grilled hot dogs, topped with ketchup, mustard, onions, and relish, go for $1.99. If you're on team dog at your friends' backyard cookouts, break out the mustard and start celebrating. But if you're anti-tube steak, stick to your Tendercrisps and Whoppers.
