Vehicle catches fire after crashing into barn in Oley
Mar. 11—Crews contained a vehicle fire that erupted after the vehicle crashed into a barn Friday evening on Mine Lane, north of Oley Turnpike Road in Oley Township.
Crews responded to initial calls shortly after 6 p.m., according to emergency reports.
A medical evaluation was requested for the driver of the vehicle, who was the car's only occupant.
The vehicle hit a corn crib attached to a stone structure, so the structure was largely spared from the flames, reports said.
The vehicle fire was declared under control within about 20 minutes, and fire crews were wrapping up at the scene shortly before 7 p.m.
