Verve Promotes Agent Adam Weinstein to Partner
Continuing to make strides in the agency realm, Verve has elevated agent Adam Weinstein to partner.
Weinstein will become the fifth partner at the agency joining co-founders Bryan Besser, Adam Levine and Bill Weinstein along with Amy Retzinger.
This marks the first time in the agency’s history that an agent currently with the company has been elevated to the partner position. Retzinger was not a co-founder but, as part of her deal in moving to the company from Gersh, was made partner upon her arrival.
“We are thrilled and proud to welcome Adam Weinstein into the partnership of Verve,” the partners said in a statement. “Adam’s taste, passion and energy have helped fuel our culture and business and we are excited to make him an even bigger part of our team!”
Among Weinstein’s career highlights is the rise of clients Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, who went from directing and writing, respectively, the indie “Safety Not Guaranteed” to directing and writing the box office smash “Jurassic World.” Trevorrow is also set to direct “Star Wars: Episode IX.”
“It’s a true privilege to not only love what you do, but where you do it. Verve is a special company and I’m excited to be part of its future,” said Weinstein.
Prior to joining Verve in 2012, he worked at ICM for three years, as well as UTA, where he began in 2002 as an agent trainee.
