    Shopping for scarves online is cheap and convenient, but some customers feel it lacks the personal recommendations provided by assistants in high-end boutiques. That’s why VeryPashmina.com is partnering with Yanira Garza, the founder of Black Label Fashion Consultancy, to produce a series of videos bringing expert styling advice to online consumers.     Very Pashmina.com is working with Yanira Garza, founder of Black Label Fashion Consultancy, to produce a series of videos providing expert styling advice for their range of pashminas.

    Founder of VeryPashmina.com, Matthew Oldham, explains:

    “Shoppers online don’t have to queue for the checkout or push through the crowds to find a scarf bargain, but sometimes the e-commerce experience doesn’t provide the kind of personal recommendations you might expect from an assistant in a ‘bricks-and-mortar’ shopping environment.

    "That’s why VeryPashmina.com is partnering with Black Label Fashion Consultancy to provide styling advice for our range of pashminas.

    In this series of videos Yanira reviews each pashmina and shows a couple of easy styling techniques. Then she goes on to teach consumers whether a given pashmina shawl will suit their particular hair color, eye color and skin tone, as well as making a few suggestions for complementary outfits that work particularly well.

    “Most women buy pieces to ‘match’ other items in their wardrobe. These videos break down your color choices by cool and warm colors and explain which works best for you, not just what matches your current wardrobe. It is by far the easiest way to shop online,” said Yanira Garza, Founder of Black Label Fashion Consultancy.

    An additional benefit of the videos, compared to a standard photographic representation of the product, is the fact the videos show the pashminas being modeled. As a result the consumer can really get a sense for the drape of the fabric and the way it flows when the model moves.

    The videos are expected to go live during October 2011.

    Yanira Garza began her career in fashion working both as a model and a make-up artist, whilst studying for a degree in Design and Merchandise Management in Chicago. She has worked as a make-up artist for the likes of Chanel, Maven, Shiseido, YSL and Smashbox. With experience in both the fashion and beauty industry, Yanira has developed a keen eye for style.
