    Viator, Inc. Hires Millennium Search

    Executive Search Firm Quickly Fills Key Role

    Viator, a leading online resource for researching and booking tours and activities worldwide, has a new Product Manager – Asia, thanks to the fast work of top executive recruiting firm Millennium Search.

    “We hired Millennium Search to fill this position, and they more than met our expectations,” said Viator Vice President, Global Product Sales Jeff Lavender. “In a matter of days, they presented us with a small group of highly qualified candidates for this specialized position, from which we made our selection,” he said.

    Viator sells tours and activities through the award-winning Viator.com website, eight local-language sites serving European and Japanese markets, and more than 2,000 affiliated sites that include major hotel chains and airlines, online travel agencies, city-specific sites and more.

    Sandy Bleich, senior partner of Millennium Search, handled recruiting for the Viator position.

    “The Product Manager – Asia position was a very challenging search, like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack," Sandy Bleich said. "However, we always love these searches, because they are so rewarding when we find the ideal person. In this case, Viator needed someone with very specific skills as well as a very cultured travel history to go along with them.”
