Video: Debating the Second Amendment

In a special National Constitution Center event from Chicago, participants debate whether or not the Supreme Court got it right when it ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to own a handgun.

Professor Michael O’Shea of the Oklahoma City University School of Law argued in favor of the resolution. Professor Carl T. Bogus of the Roger Williams University School of Law argued against the resolution. Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the National Constitution Center, will moderated the debate, held on November 19, 2015 at the Chicago Cultural Center.

The debate was presented in partnership with The Federalist Society and the American Constitutional Society.
