VIDEO: James Harden learns the 'Carlton Dance' from Alfonso Ribeiro
Houston Rockets' star James Harden has taken a lot of heat on the internet over the last year or so. While his effort to put up points can be suffocating at times, his defensive effort and awareness has become easy fodder for making jokes about him on the basketball court. Not even a gold medal in the FIBA World Cup will stop him from getting flak in NBA discussions unless we see more effort and execution from him.
His lesson from Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, though shows while he may be timid to try something new, he is willing to start putting the effort toward new things. It wasn't great execution when he tried to replicate the Carlton Dance after a lesson from Ribeiro, but this is more effort than we've seen him from hin staying with his man on some occasions.
