Kobi Jordan-Simmons

Kobi Jordan-Simmons is a 6-foot-5 junior combo guard, which is the same position that Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant played and play. Different spelling on Kobe, but same pronunciation.

Jordan-Simmons is considered the top combo guard in his class by 247Sports, much like another Simmons — Ben Simmons of Montverde Academy (Fla.) — who is the No. 1 player overall in the 2015 class.

So Jordan-Simmons definitely carries name recognition.

He's making a name for himself at St. Francis (Alpharetta, Ga.), where he averages 20.7 points and 4.2 assists for the Knights (25-3), who are No. 3 in the MaxPreps Georgia computer rankings.

Several experts have compared Jordan-Simmons to Shaun Livingston, yet another big name.

He's been offered by 39 schools and 247Sports predicts he'll land at Kansas, Kentucky or North Carolina.
