2656 W. Logan Boulevard in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood is home to the most spectacular Christmas lights display in the city.
Captivating hearts, young and old
The grandiose residence, belonging to Mr. Frank Lopez, is a joyous treat for the eyes that will captivate hearts of young and old, with a stunning display of magical artistry. Lopez's celebrated home has been a favorite of Chicago for 25-years.
The Christmas display features Santa Claus and his reindeer flying on the roof, festive music, angels, Bugs Bunny in a Santa suit, and one of the most charming highlights, a vintage carousel filled with teddy bears who are the happy passengers.
Magical work of art
In 2012, the latest addition to the seasonal work of art is a glass time capsule containing dolls, ornaments and other trinkets that capture a nostalgic memory of Christmases past.
Neighbors and visitors to the festive home are dazzled by the bright, colorful decorations and lights that totally surround the large corner residence, which radiates with love and magical wonder.
Mr. Lopez' amiable next-door-neighbor, Colin Beckett, gave a brief tour and history of the gorgeous home in a special Logan Square Christmas Home video presentation.
