We hit 90 degrees again this afternoon and the first few days of May will remain 10 to 12 degrees above normal. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for our mountains and deserts where gusty easterly winds and very low humidity will keep the fire danger threat high into Friday. Afternoon highs will remain in the low 90s until Sunday when cooler air arrives dropping highs into the mid 80s. There's even a chance of rain in our 7-day forecast.
