The 30-Something Guide to Gorgeous Skin
Transitioning from your 20s to your 30s means focusing on those areas you probably skip during your usual skin care regimen: your lips and your eyes. Kate Somerville tells us the tricks to maintaining a youthful glow as a 30-something, plus she tells us what products we need to get rid of ASAP. 6 Necessary Tips You Need to Maintain Your Edges
The edges of your hair are the most fragile part - they're very thin, which means taking the time to give them extra TLC. If you think you're alone in the struggle against thinning edges, think again - even supermodel Naomi Campbell deals with it! If you're reading this, you know that thinning edges are caused by excessive pulling and tugging; tight ponytails and buns are not your friends. Weaves also put a lot of stress on your edges, as do many of the products you could be putting into your hair. If you are trying to grow back your edges, are hoping to grow them out, or just want to maintain healthy edges, there are a few things to keep in mind. Avoid products with alcohol for starters - alcohol is used to help products you put in your hair dry faster and is found in a lot of gel products, but they can cause major breakage! It might be tempting to gel down your edges, but avoid doing so if possible. (Your hair will thank you!) Check out the rest of the tips in the video, and be sure to comment and let us know any tips you have for keeping your edges in check.

These Men Got Clip-In Man Buns, and the Results Are Hilarious
There are very few iconic hairstyles: Twiggy's pixie cut. Brigitte Bardot's bangs. And, of course, the infamous man bun. I can't promise the man bun will stand the test of time, and let's get real: it's a style created out of convenience, not art, but it's still popular nonetheless. Recently, Groupon had a deal for a clip-in version of the man 'do: for the man who wears many hats, but no bun. Originally valued at $65, you could get one for yourself for only $10! What a steal! It was clearly an opportunity we couldn't pass up. We ended up buying all the shades offered except blond, because we didn't have any blond male co-workers in the office. Let's just say these hair accents aren't the best color match, aren't easy to apply, and don't look anything like a normal man bun. If you really want to pull off the look, you should use a hairband to wrap up the bun and make it smaller so it doesn't resemble a hairy yarmulke just chillin' on your skull. Check out how the men of POPSUGAR fared when presented with a man bun, and let us know what you think of their final looks!

Want Better Skin and Hair? Grab the Champagne
We recently learned that Champagne can help with memory loss, which is an amazing benefit to drinking some bubbly. Turns out, there are plenty of other benefits the beverage has to offer, including better skin and gorgeous hair! Use it to clarify your skin like a toner; add it to your hair for a fuller, shinier mane; or incorporate it into a DIY clay mask for a weekly detox treatment. Check out all the uses and let us know your favorite thing to do with Champagne in the comments - outside of drinking it, of course! 7 Tips For Wearing Dark Lipstick For Your Skin Tone
When it's Fall in Los Angeles, I'm promptly grabbing my beanies, drinking hot lattes, and sporting dark lipstick, regardless of the weather. (It was 91 degrees on Halloween, but by golly, I'm going to feel festive in this scarf!) Dark lips are a perfect way to play with your look without committing to something more extreme, like going brunette or chopping your hair off. It allows you to express a darker side that you might not feel as comfortable doing in the sunny Spring and Summer months. There are a few things to consider, though, before you start putting together your lipstick wardrobe. Namely, which darker shades will complement your skin tone and keep you from looking like the walking dead? I spoke with Urban Decay's cofounding partner Wende Zomnir, who gave me a fabulous yet practical tip for picking out dark lipstick: choose it based on the "vibe you're going for." Want to feel sultry? A deep burgundy is perfect. Feeling rocker chic? Berry shades will help bring out your inner band babe. And chocolate shades are a great way to play with the trend in a more natural form: browns are neutrals, so they won't appear too flashy. Check out the six other application and product tips in the video, and let me know your favorite shades!

Make Your Lips Look Bigger With the Ombré Technique
I'll admit it: ombré lips don't sound like the friendliest makeup look. In fact, they sound like a whole lot of time and effort, and more like a work of art - not something you could pull off around the office. That's why we wanted to take the opportunity and show you that, yes, it is a fashion-forward beauty trend, but it's easy to wear! (Even for us common folk.) You don't need to be a runway model to master this gorgeous pout, and you don't need a bevy of time, either. In less than five minutes, you can ombré your way to a head-turning look. And we're showing you two ways to rock it: one for day, and one for night. This post is brought to you by Crest 3D White Whitestrips.

7 Days of Easy Curly Hairstyles
Curly hair is a God-send. Sure, you might not think that all the time, but curly hair has so many benefits! Like natural volume, which adds a certain whimsy to any hairstyle. With braids, you'll never have to worry about them being flat - the curls add bulk that many straight-haired women load up on styling powder for. And top knots are never, ever puny with curls! Because we wanted to show off how versatile curly hair is, we recruited celebrity hairstylist Richard Collins, whose clients include Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and dame Helen Mirren, to create these seven gorgeous looks that any curly girl can replicate at home - one for every day of the week! In terms of products you'll need on standby, Richard suggests something to tame frizz and keep your mane controlled. Schwartzkopf curling cream is his favorite. "It's also light. You don't want anything to heavy on curly hair, or any hair, really." So what advice does Richard have for those who have curly hair? "A lot of people with curly hair want it straight. Try not to flat iron it too much, try not to use a curling iron too much. Definitely use something with a heat protector in it." And in terms of washing your hair, Richard suggests washing your curls every fourth day. "And I think you can get away without using shampoo. Sometimes you can get away with just using conditioner. You need to use shampoo, but it's not necessary every single time. I think it's a mistake that people use it every single time. Unless you're spinning or something. In-between, try to use conditioner," says Richard. Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Exclusive Swatch Reveal
All right, I'm giving you carte blanche to lose your sh*t. I get it. It seems like the only acceptable way to act - this has never been seen before, and you're going to lose your mind at how great it is. You've waited for this moment, and finally - FINALLY! - here are all of the glorious shades in Gwen Stefani's Urban Decay palette, swatched for your complete visual pleasure. About the shadows: the color payoff for all 15 shades is utter perfection. (Did you expect anything less from UD?) Harajuku, the blue-pink, isn't a wacky pink; it has a cooler tone to it, so you can wear it to work or on a date and nobody will think you're nuts. The 1987 shade is a tremendous gold that I plan on using on the daily on my inner corners. My favorite shade, Punk, is a red-brown matte that accentuates green and hazel eyes. I can't stress how wearable this palette is - you'll probably hit pan with every single shadow. Here's a breakdown of the 12 new shades, which are all aptly named for different parts of Gwen's life: Blonde, a pale beige with pink iridescent shift that's great for highlighter Bathwater, a pale beige with gold pearl Steady, a medium rose with metallic gold shift Punk, the reddish-brown matte I mentioned that accentuates green and hazel eyes Baby, a cool metallic rose Anaheim, a light taupe-brown that's one of the only matte shades in the palette Zone, another matte in a medium brown Serious, a smoky gray with iridescent floating pearl that helps add dimension to a regular smoky look Pop, a pale coral with iridescent sparkle Harajuku, a metallic blue-pink with iridescent microshimmer that works gorgeously with Punk Danger, a deep metallic royal blue with blue microsparkle 1987, a bright metallic yellow-gold The other three shades - Skimp, Stark, and Blackout - are favorites of Gwen's from the original Urban Decay collection. I'm truly obsessed with this palette. Dare I say I use it more than my Naked palettes? Yes, I do. All of the neutral colors help enhance your eyes without going overboard, and they're all so wearable that you could wear it to work, for a night out with the girls, on a date, to church . . . wherever you want to go, you can use this palette alone. Check out the video review, and let us know what shade is your favorite so far!
