Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic made a combative first appearance at the UN war crimes court, complaining over "irregularities" in his capture and insisting he would defend himself at trial.

    Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic was in the custody of the UN war crimes court Wednesday after being flown from Serbia during the night to face charges of genocide.
