Arizona Breaking News: Arizona Wildfire 2013: 19 Firefighters Die While Battling Yarnell Hill Blaze
Nineteen members of an elite fire crew were killed in the deadliest wildfire in the U.S. in the last 30 years. Gusty, hot winds blew an Arizona blaze out of control Sunday in a forest northwest of Phoenix, overtaking and killing the firefighters. The "hotshot" firefighters deployed their emergency tent-like fire shelters when they were caught near the town of Yarnell, but the wildfire was too intense. Fire crews in Arizona are trying to control a blaze that killed 19 elite firefighters and destroyed 200 homes. A gas leak at Intel Corp's second-biggest manufacturing plant, located in Chandler, Arizona, sickened up to 43 people, including 11 who were taken to a local hospital, company and local fire officials said on Saturday.

Shakira Performance Upsets 'Voice' Fans
Tuesday night on “The Voice,” Team Usher’s TJ Wilkins and Team Shakira’s Dani Moz were cut from the competition, but the biggest elimination of the night was that of Shakira’s live vocals during a performance of her hit song “Empire.” The Twitterverse took exception to Shakira’s obvious lip-syncing, especially on a competition show called “The Voice.” The fans’ disappointment didn’t end there; many were also upset with Shakira’s seductive and skimpy outfit. Fans said her racy lingerie was wildly inappropria

'The Broads Must Be Crazy': Jon Stewart skewers sexist media
On "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart added his commentary on the news surrounding Chelsea Clinton's pregnancy — and what becoming a grandmother means for Hillary Clinton's political future. Stewart responded to pundits who wondered if it was sexist to even discuss the topic. "No! No! No, silly Billy, of course it's not sexist, even though it's a question that has never, ever been posed to a male candidate, ever," Stewart said. "For God's sake, Mitt Romney has, like, a litter of grandchildren. Mitt Romney has ... a grandchild petting zoo.” He continued, "It's as though men and women are treated differently — like they're from two different planets." He went on to mention former CIA Director Michael Hayden dismissing a critical report from U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein as "emotional." "Senator just needs her beauty sleep; that's all she needs," Stewart cracked. On the "Colbert Report," host Stephen Colbert ranted about the same topic earlier this week, addressing some pundits who suggested that the future Clinton grandchild could have been a little too perfectly planned. "Now, obviously, news of a grandchild is a joyous occasion, so I just want to take a moment right now to put politics aside and offer the Clinton family a heartfelt congratulations for such a shrewd political movie," Colbert joked. — Claudine Zap (@zapkidd)
