AUSTIN -- The cousin of a woman accused of spitting in an officer's face right before the officer slapped her told KVUE Wednesday night that she is bipolar and takes medication. Austin police officer Michelle Gish was fired Tuesday for improper use of force and for trying to cover up the incident.
