The #49 "America Israel Racing" car is owned by Robinson-Blakeney Racing and driven by J.J. Yeley. Friends Rich Shirey and Mark MacCaull said they came up with the idea for America Israel Racing at their daughters' horse show in late 2011. CONCORD, N.C. -- Race fans got a rare treat today the chance to walk on the actual track at Charlotte motor Speedway. They were also treated to what's called the "World's Largest Cookout". A quarter mile of grills stretched along the infield to feed thousands. Volunteers cooked up hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken for the fans. Many took the chance after the cookout to walk the asphalt and stop at the start line where they could sign a special message to their favorite driver.
