Yeah, a lot of people get this first amendment thing wrong. It does not protect all speech in all situations. It never tried to. Go back and read every word of it.

I am sorry you didn't have a civil order of protection....or if he did the court didn't enforce it.....but my friend this man post nasty stuff about this child's mother in a public format....don't you think if the court ordered your father to act civilly with your mother and he post nasty stuff that hurt you because you were told about it.he violated the order? I am sorry that the court let your father do what many do...destroy children to get revenge ...but this guy is doing the same thing dragging her thru the mud because he doesn't get what he wants.....that young child in the picture gets hurt ultimately....and if anyone should know it should be you...I hope that all get worked out..a court order should make things simmer down for you as you may know Show cause is one way to stop the insane immature methods of some individuals....and if it doesn't stop at least he would face real jail time...

Really KathleenC is this your first week on the WWW....you don't have to stalk someone to be informed that someone is posting nasty comments about you...and remember if you had listened to the moronic news man....he reported that he was under a civil Order of Protection.....mmmm break that down...Civil is the way we act towards one another acting with respect for each others right to live peacefully see i am not under one so i don't have to be CIVIL .....Divorces destroy children..irresponsible parents attack one another and use children as pawns....unless your living under a rock you know this.....this order is for morons like this guy...to protect the children...not his pathetic rant about freedom of speech to tear into this child's mom in a public format.... I say he goes to jail for violating the order and he loses his visitation in fear he scars this child with rants about his mother.. you hit the nail on the head..I suggest he write out the apology one time with a disclaimer at the end that states " I am posting this under duress and these are not my words...then I would deactivate my account let this #$%$ throw me in jail and then sue the #$%$ out of anyone and everyone involved

I agree, he should have just gone to jail then proceeded from there. I also agree that in a case where you have to fully responsible parents able to care for their child/ren it should be equal. Although, in the court divorce decree my ex husband has visitation dates for our child, I never abide by it. I have always given my ex husband equal right to see our daughter and have her at any time he wished. If there was a conflict of plans, we just worked it out. We both created her and are both responsible caring parents; only right to both raise her equally.

AMEN M....Family court judges are the worst. It amazing how with one phone call my ex can get just about anything she wants with the State backing her, yet when it comes time for my visitation, and she doesn't show up with my kids, there is no one for me to call..I am told get a lawyer... I pay a lawyer, get a court date, only to have her have some lame excuse why she could not be there...maybe she gets a slap on the wrist and walks away only to do it again. These judges just always assume it is the guys fault...even this facebook example proves it...

you pretty much covered it all..the family court is flawed and corrupt and absolutely biased against fathers, I've seen it happen to more than one man I know...
