He apparently claimed that she was keeping him from his son when he wasn't allowed to see his son except twice a week because of a domestic violence complaint. Then he choose to see his son only once in the four week period. It sounds like slander to me.

Face your life DON'T Facebook it!!!
    • VanessaL 3 mths ago
Cc What's the difference between posting online and saying the same thing in person? Nothing; but no one has to be at X place at Y time. So people can see what's going on with you quicker with something like FB; that is, as the guy said, his attraction to FB (see video). :)

  • SalvadorF  •  Los Angeles, California  •  3 mths ago
My ex frequently talks crap about me on Facebook. Maybe this judge can have her apologize to me too. LOL!
Divorce would be easier to deal with if both sides act like adults and move on with their lives. It would also help if the courts were fair and unbiased.
    • Nelsinia R Wroblewski 3 mths ago
Perhaps you should post the announcement on her FB wall. lol
    • mark w 3 mths ago
Since the courts are usually in favor of the woman, don't count on it.
    • Kate S 3 mths ago
Mark W. your comment is bogus. Look at the statistics--if the mother gets custody check out the stats the reduction in standard of living-the incidence of women and children living in poverty after a divorce.

Anyway--good for you Salvador if you don't bad mouth her back. Shows who the bigger person is.

In case you haven't noticed, all of our rights are slowly, but surely, being eliminated in this country. Our forefathers would be outraged as should we!!!

Face your problems, don't facebook your problems.
  • Victoria  •  Richardson, Texas  •  3 mths ago
People can say whatever they want- to whoever they want whenever they want! I bet his ex wife says whatever she wants to her friends and family. Well, guess what? The people listed on his FB are HIS friends & family. He can say whatever he wants. Facebook is an awesome outlet to communicate and connect with people.
I watched his story this morning here in Dallas, TX and exacctly how can someone tell him he HAS to post something and also tell he CANT NOT post something? That is a complete contraction!!!! I thought we had free speach in this country.
  • Sensible  •  3 mths ago
    How is this legal?
  • Lee (Short for Leland)  •  Chicago, Illinois  •  3 mths ago
After I listened to this story about Mark being forced to write a apology I did a little fast research of my own and although none of you see me as a lawyer, I do have some very vast experience in filing lawsuits and such, on my own and I know my way around the law books better than most lawyers and my quick research has shown me that the judge over stepped his bounds. That is not unusual though. Judges do it all the time and you would be surprised just how often it happens. The difference is here, it caught the news media and now Mark (the victim) will have lawyers pounding down his door because of the national attention his case is going to get...lol. Point is, the story is the same in almost every case that involves an ex....lol. I am one of the lucky ones. My ex and I get along pretty good, but I know a lot of guys that don't have the luck that I had. Some woman out there, just as men can really be an #$%$ and we don't know the whole story here either, but never the less, Marks 1st amendent rights are in question here.
  • Just A thought  •  3 mths ago
No you can't say whatever you want in a public forum and it's never been that way. We have loads of statues, laws and precedents to determine what is and isn't free speech. Posting something on facebook where the entire WORLD can see it is a far cry from having a private chat with a friend in a bar. Sounds to me like this guy, and everyone else who feels the need to use facebook in this manner should step away from the keyboard until they grow-up.
