Crew of USS Abraham Lincoln mark anniversary of Gettysburg Address

November 19 marks 150 (or seven score and 10) years since Abraham Lincoln made his most famous speech at Gettysburg during the American Civil War. Those iconic words, in which Lincoln described a nation “conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal”, are here recited by sailors of the president’s namesake vessel, the USS Abraham Lincoln.
