http://www.robjonesjourney.com/my-story.html) wears a special shirt from the "Ride 2 Recovery" organization: "Team Rob: Survive. Recover. Live." It's the message of his cross-country bike ride, with the goal to raise $1 million to support wounded war vets through the Coalition to Support American Heroes, the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, and Ride 2 Recovery. Rob was a Marine Corps combat engineer in Afghanistan, primarily tasked with finding explosives in the ground. Both of his legs were amputated after he suffered injuries from an IED blast. Rob began his trip last week in Bar Harbor, Maine and has thousands of miles to go. His brother Steven is following him in a truck containing supplies: "He's my brother. I've got to support him.... I wasn't doing anything half as important." Rob says his hope is for other amputees to "see me doing it and know that it's possible. Once you see that something's possible it's a lot easier to do other stuff." To donate go to: http://www.robjonesjourney.com/my-story.html">
