The Stone Foxes - "Mr. Hangman" presented by BAMM.tv
Already established in the Bay Area as a go-to band for blues rock, The Stone Foxes convert observers into believers with this performance at SXSW, and they will go to great lengths (or, in this performance, great heights) to ensure you leave the show with a sweat and a grin.

'Interview' Screening Keeps Austin Weird
Most Americans are probably familiar with the T-Shirt slogan "Keep Austin Weird." Ever since Willie Nelson brought rednecks into an alliance with hippies back in the psychedelic '70s, Austin has milked its quirky libertarian spirit for a worldwide bonanza of free publicity. Both South by Southwest and "Austin City Limits" were born in the cradle of this stoner plea. But in recent years, the Texas capital has become corporatized, the weirdness factor replaced by Starbucks, Marriott and Chase Bank. Yet, on Christmas Day, at the downtown Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at the corner of East Sixth and Trinity, vintage Austin weirdness came roaring back courtesy of the banned-in-Pyongyang film comedy, "The Interview," starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.

Families of Victims of Fatal Texas Festival Crash Sue Organizers
Families of the victims and survivors of a fatal March crash outside the popular South by Southwest festival in Austin sued the organizers on Thursday, according to court documents and local media. Four people died at this year's event when a 21-year-old motorist plowed into crowds of festival-goers over the space of several hundred yards as he fled a sobriety checkpoint. Lizzy Plug, the widow of Steven Craenmehr from Amsterdam in the Netherlands, filed a wrongful death suit in a federal Texas court, arguing that festival operators should have foreseen the possibility of the fatal car crash.

Sinners' Circus - "I Shall Be Released" presented by BAMM.tv
BAMM.tv accompanied this super-band, comprised of Con Brio, Kelly McFarling and Sioux City Kid & The Revolutionary Ramblers, on their journey from San Francisco to Austin as they jumped off bridges, played basketball, and interfered with street sweeping. They also found time to belt out an amazing rendition of Bob Dylan's "I Shall Be Released" at one of our SXSW showcases. This is one circus I wouldn't mind joining.

The Flashbulb - "Forbidden Tracks" presented by BAMM.tv
The Flashbulb (Benn Jordan) is a completely independent artist whose disillusionment with the music industry has lead to major innovations. One look at this performance from SXSW and it's easy to understand why he's one of the most downloaded artists out there. BAMM.tv is excited to keep working with The Flashbulb, so check out our other releases with Benn Jordan.
