Extradited from UK, Abu Hamza ordered detention till Oct 9

A US Court has directed that radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri will remain in detention till his formal arraignment on October 9. Hamza, who had fought extradition to the US for years and made his initial appearance in a federal court on October 6th, will be charged for providing material support to al Qaeda, plotting a kidnapping in Yemen and trying to open a training camp for militants. He will not, however, have to enter a plea until Tuesday.
