'Horrible Bosses' Co-Writers To Produce Relativity Prison Comedy
Relativity Studios will produce, finance and distribute All Day and a Night, a prison-set action-comedy following a TV news crew doing a story of the lives of two prison guards. Horrible Bosses co-writers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are producing the project, which has a script written by Paul Ruehl and the late Lester Lewis, based on an idea from Goldstein and Daley. Goldstein and Daley will next direct comedy re-boot Vacation, starring Ed Helms, which they also co-wrote. They previously wrote the script for hit comedy Horrible Bosses, and wrote the story for the upcoming sequel Horrible Bosses 2, which will hit theaters in November.
FAA Certifies Boeing 787-9 With GE Engines: Document
The FAA has certified Boeing Co's 787-9 Dreamliner for use with General Electric Co engines, clearing the way for first deliveries of the new aircraft with the U.S.-made engines expected later this month. The 787-9 is a larger version of the original Dreamliner and had already obtained FAA certification with Rolls-Royce engines. The first delivery of that configuration occurred in June. An FAA certification document dated Thursday showed both the Rolls and GE engines as approved on the 787-9.

Man Charged In Biting Attack At Lollapalooza
A 33-year-old man is accused of biting two men in a seemingly random attack as the Arctic Monkeys performed at Chicago's Lollapalooza music festival. Cook County State's Attorney's Office spokesman Steve Campbell says Sergio Vicenteno is charged with aggravated battery in the Aug. 1 attack. He has not entered a plea. Prosecutors say Vicenteno attacked one man, biting him in the shin. When a friend of the attacked man, Ben Lenet, tried to intervene, Vicenteno bit Lenet's arm.

A new report from Asia claims that Apple will indeed use sapphire glass covers for some of its iPhone 6 models, but that the sapphire iPhone 6 will be a rarity this year. Digitimes says that GT Advanced Technologies, Apple’s sapphire-making partner, will not reach full capacity in 2014 and adds that sapphire screen covers will be extremely expensive this year. Digitimes adds that a single sapphire screen cover can cost as much as $100, or significantly more expensive than reinforced glass covers priced at around $5 to $10 per unit.
