Meet The 'Ronal-teenios': Brazil's Dwarf Football Team
WITH his silky skills and eye for goal, 27-year-old Casemiro is every inch the Brazilian footballer - 39 inches to be precise. The tiny striker, known as 'Wagner Love', is the star player for the country's top Dwarf football team: The Gigantes do Norte. And far from being a laughing stock, this talented group of 'Ronald-tinios' are playing - and beating - teams almost twice their size. They use full-size pitches and goals but are allowed to bend one rule: they can carry a teammate on their shoulder's when defending a free-kick. Their coach says some players would easily be professionals if they were born taller. The team, whose name means the Giants of the North, are based in Belem, Para State, North Brazil. Dipping his hands into hot boiling fat this chicken chef takes his cooking to the extreme. Meet Kann 'Superhands' Trichan who can bury his hands deep into hot boiling fat and sieve fried chicken with his own fingers. Amazingly the 50-year-old walks away with no blisters and completely unharmed. Discovering his unique talent seven years ago when he was accidentally splashed with hot oil but suffered no injury. Mr Trichan started experimenting with his new found talent and started picking out pieces of fried chicken from a pan of hot fat with his hands. He holds a Guinness Book of World Record for picking 20 pieces of fried chicken out of 480c boiling fat in 1 minute.

AN Indian man says he is addicted to eating bricks, gravel and mud. Pakkirappa Hunagundi, 30, first developed a taste for the non-edible objects when he was 10. Ever since he says he has consumed up to three kilos of debris a day found lying in his village in Karnataka, India. But despite his strange eating disorder - thought to be caused by a condition called Pica - he insists he hasn't suffered any ill-effects. A small band of Hindu worshippers in India are claiming that drinking fresh cow urine can help cure all diseases - including cancer. Drinking cow urine to treat medical ailments is a centuries old practice in the Hindu religion. But the unusual treatment - which is not medically proven - has resurfaced in recent years, in the North Indian city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. IT'S AN ingredient not usually found on the menu, but one New York restaurant is serving up tacos with a twist - they'll filled with grasshoppers. Authentic Mexican restaurant Toloache, on Manhattan's Upper East Side, has been preparing the crunchy dish for loyal customers for a number of years. The insects are shipped dry from Mexico City, before being marinated, sautéed and then served in a tortilla with salsa verde. And while munching on the long-legged bugs might seem strange to western tastes, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) have promoted consumption of insects as a low-fat, high-protein weapon in the fight against hunger, global warming and pollution. A POOR farming village has reinvented itself as the bodybuilding capital of India. Almost all of the men in the 3,500 strong town of Asola-Fatehpur Beri workout and 90 per cent are employed as bouncers or security guards in nearby New Delhi. They train from birth but step things up at the age of 14 when they switch to a diet of milk, bananas, eggs and curd - to help put on weight.
Record Breaking Limbo Skater: 6-year-old Skates Under 39 Cars
Gagan Satish is a six-year-old boy who is a roller skater from Bangalore, India. He flattened himself and passed underneath 39 cars, squeezing in a space of seven inches above the ground on his roller skates. Gagan covered the distance in 29.8 seconds and emerged unscathed from the 20 centimetres of space underneath the SUVs. This feat has landed Gagan to stake claim for an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. The wonder kid, who goes to a primary school, began skating at the age of three, harnessing his extreme flexibility to master and specialise in limbo- skating.
