HOUSTON - Two vehicles flipped during a wreck on the 610 West Loop near Memorial Drive Friday evening. Police said a man in a silver SUV was driving erratically and trying to pass people on the left-hand shoulder when he lost control of the vehicle and flipped. He crashed into a red car, which also flipped. Crews had to cut people out of the flipped vehicles. There was no word on their conditions.

It all began Friday after 2 a.m. at a complex on Crofton near Tidwell in northeast Houston.
