Irish media reported. This video shows campaigners before they boarded their return train to Dublin. A member of the Irish parliament, socialist representative Ruth Coppinger attended the demonstration. The demonstration took place on the second anniversary of the death of Savita Halappanavar. Mrs Halappanavar’s death intensified the debate around abortion, a procedure that is only available in very limited circumstances in the Republic of Ireland. Halappanavar died shortly after suffering a miscarriage, her earlier requests for an abortion had been refused. A report by the Irish health service found that confusion over Irish law on abortion played a factor in the woman’s death. Credit: Facebook/ Paul Murphy, Socialist Party">
