I think that the reporter was out of line when she said that she thinks that they are too young to get married. No one asked for her opinion, and her opinion matters to no one else but her.

      true. she's right though.

She's 20, that's young but not out of line. But the reporter shouldn't have interjected her opinion.

Congrat's. You are never too young as long as you are truly in love and really ready. I got married to my wonderful husband at 23 and we have together for over 8 years and still going strong. In fact our marriage is a lot stronger and more true then many marriages that I have seen growing up as a child. He's the best thing to ever happen to me, along with my two children.

I'm engaged to his sister, we're both 22. The man is 24 and his new fiancee' is 20. We're both very happy for them and excited that their proposal got so much attention. It was funny to see the camera man cut away from the proposal. We had talked to them and they both told us it wasn't intended to be in front of the camera - sorry to disappoint anyone trying to ruin the genuine romanticism. It was a real proposal dealing with two people who love each other very much. God Bless the both of them, and may they have a long and happy life!

And of course the clueless news program cut away at the best part and missed the whole thing. Great editing, guys!

Yeah, she looks like one of those token black women on a Hawaii five-o series.
Or bette yet, that nurse who played, Room 222.

Why are they reporting about healthy foods at the airport? lmao. It also wasn't staged he wanted to propose after he came home from not seeing her, whats wrong with that?

LOL! But seriously... how do you NOT notice a live reporter and camera? But why talk about health at an airport?

Why are people so damned cynical? Why can't this just be a cute proposal by a young guy? So what if he's in shorts. So what if it's at the airport. What difference does it make? People propose in all sorts of different ways. Truth is stranger than fiction. Try to be more upbeat, and GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. We don't know them, and haven't been to that city, or know anything about the area. Let's just try to be positive for once, okay? We'll all be happier.

Proposing at an airport. How romantic. Don't take her out on an expensive date or anything. No, no. An airport is perfect.

Too bad I had to sit throught that boring news report. And what was that dance he was doing before he proposed? I suppose congratulations anyway.

This is strange. KMBC News is reporting about eating healthy - at an airport. And than a man just happens to be proposing to his girl behind them - at an airport. No matter if this is real or not its just weird.

    so cute!!!
  • Humpty  •  9 mths ago
Looks staged. What fool would propose to his lifelong love on a dirty sidewalk outside of an airport?

I hope both of you are ready for the serious relationship! Goodluck!
