Kate Spade's Deborah Lloyd Wants a Bit More Humor at the CFDA Awards

by Sugar Videos 1:12 mins

Fashion designers can be a tough crowd to please, but Kate Spade creative director Deborah Lloyd said she hopes the CFDA Awards get a bit more humorous in the future. "I loved [Seth Meyers wearing the] Marc Jacobs outfit from last year," she said of last year's host, who parodied Marc Jacobs by wearing the same sheer lace dress that the designer wore to the Met Gala. "That really made me laugh, and I thought he was such a sport about that, so I hope there’s a little bit more humor. Because we are a hard crowd to please, so a few laughs will be great." For stylist Brad Goreski's part, the highlight of the night was Linda Evangelista. "She's presenting Tim Blanks with his award and she’s the be all and end all for me. I'm a child of the '90s."
