The Lone Ranger, which hits theaters this weekend, marks the fifth time producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Johnny Depp have collaborated on the big screen. Jerry, who is also the man behind the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, clearly has a deep respect for and trust in the actor. Despite Johnny's visually dramatic look as Tonto, Jerry says he never questioned the star's interpretation of the beloved character and that his approach as a producer is just to "let Johnny go." When we sat down with Jerry in Santa Fe, NM, he also talked about the importance of shooting the interpretation of the classic cowboy tale in the heart of the American West.">
