      LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Fair Board has named a replacement for Harold Workman, the board president who is vacating the position Dec. 31. The board made the announcement during a meeting Friday afternoon. Clifford "Rip" Rippetoe, president of Rippetoe Solutions Group out of Las Vegas, is set to take the spot vacated by Workman. School officials say they have to give notice by May 15 for the upcoming school year. Spokesman Ben Jackey says those layoffs are due in part to budget constraints, including a loss of federal funds.
