Marine Harvest CEO Has Big Plans Beyond NYSE Listing
Marine Harvest is listing on the NYSE so it can tap U.S. capital markets in order to grow its global aquaculture business, says the company's CEO Alf-Helge Aarskog. Norway-based Marine Harvest, which already trades in Oslo, is the world's leading seafood company, controlling about 25% of the capacity to produce the highly popular Atlantic salmon. The global salmon market grew 15% last year due to increased demand from emerging markets, according to Aarskog, who is also seeking to grow the company's distribution system in the U.S.

Obama Sharply Criticizes Republicans As He Announces 8 Million Have Enrolled

I'm going to say one last thing about this -- just because this -- this does frustrate me, states that have chosen not to expand Medicaid for no other reason than political spite,” Obama said. “You got 5 million people who could be having health insurance right now, at no cost to these states -- zero cost to these states – [yet] other than ideological reasons, they have chosen not to provide health insurance for their citizens.”
