Mars Orbiter Blasts Off from Chennai Island

India launched its first mission to Mars on November 5, aiming to put a satellite in orbit around the Red Planet. The Mars Orbiter Mission blasted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on Sriharikota off the coast of the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. This video shows the launch from Chennai.
