MassChallenge CEO Says Future is Bright for U.S. Entrepreneurship

MassChallenge founder and chief executive John Harthorne weighs in on the trend in entrepreneurship in the U.S. MassChallenge, which says it is the world's largest start-up accelerator, supports early-stage entrepreneurs. Despite reports that we are seeing a drop in entrepreneurial activity in the country, Harthorne says the core segment of entrepreneurs still exists, even as the job market improves and companies add more employees. While he says opportunities exist for entrepreneurs in every industry, Harthorne cites health care, life science, computer technology and social innovation as several areas that are currently exciting for start-ups.
