Master Blaster conferred 'Order of Australia'
Indian batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar was conferred membership to the 'Order of Australia' today. Australia's Minister for Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government and Minister for the Arts, Simon Crean honoured Tendulkar with coveted title in Mumbai. Earlier in October, Australian Prime Minister Julian Gillard during her visit to India, had made the formal announcement of the honour. Tendulkar is only the second Indian after former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee to get the 'Order of Australia'.
