Police: Woman Babysitting 2-Year-Old Staged Home Invasion

Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Connecticut on Tuesday night that they say appears to have been staged. The victim said she was home with a 2-year-old when she heard someone breaking into the home. When police arrived they found several open doors and a bedroom window smashed. The home was also ransacked. Officers found the child and woman inside the home unharmed. During the course of the investigation, police determined that this was a staged incident.
