Protest erupts in Chennai over anti-Islam film
A protest rally was today organised by the Tamil Nadu Thowheeth Jamaat (TNTJ) group in Chennai over the issue of an anti-Islam film "The Innocence of Muslims" produced in the United States that offends Islam and its Prophet Mohamed. The protestors took out the rally in the city and then protested outside the US Consulate where they gathered with posters and placards depicting US President Barrack Obama, US pastor John Terry and the promoter of the controversial film, Steve Klein.
