In rare condition, Chennai baby keeps catching fire
A 3-month-old baby in Chennai has been repeatedly catching fire because of a rare medical condition known as Spontaneous Human Combustion (SHC). The disorder has been seen only in 200 people across the world in the past 300 years. Named Rahul, the baby boy first caught fire when he was nine days old. Rahul is now undergoing treatment at Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) Hospital. Doctors say that Rahul's condition could be the result of the rare disease.
