Such ineptitude...Fuel efficiency has doubled over the past 15 years and gas still up 200%. This is what happens when you give your family checkbook to your teenage daughter and she spends it all on energy pixie dust (solar loans) plus some cool news jeans. Then you find out their is not enough to pay the family mortgage so you have to go out and get a second job (increased taxes) and she says she will do it better the next four years if you turn over your Retirement accounts too.

Just legallize them dont give hem a ssn that is for us born americans Illegial Alien US Security Number with 15 characters and make them pay taxes like the rest of the world we have to pay for them and the familes. If they are here make them all get medical insurance and buy education vouchers for there kids and pay taxes per person in the family and they cannot qualify for unemployment unless they are real US citizens of which after 15 yeas of showing documentaion they will be able to apply to be a citizen. We can all get along. The head of the house is the sponcer and he has to report how many family member he will be responscible for and if he fails to get proper documentation for everyone in his family they all will be deported. If the sponcer commit a crime then they all will be deported. Have them file every six months that everyon has insurance and school vouchers that they have paid for and file income tax if they do not account for each family member then they all get deported. create a new deportment for Immigration affairs to start documenting photo and fingerprinting all the aliens in the united states. Every year they have to register to stay in the country. This will creste jobs and accountability of all people in the US and growing nation.

What ever is illegal is illegal. If these people are now living in USA and have a job and a family, I presume that a compromise on the State and the immigrants should be reached.
How, I have no idea , but for sure, if these immigrants did choose USA it means that out of all the places in the world they like USA. For sure they are willing regulate their position.

America's not being remade. It's being DESTROYED. The un-assimable aliens are simply re-creating the worthless cultures they fled. Legal or illegal.

If you cant afford school, dont go. If you have to rack up debt to go to school dont go. If you have to spend 10% of your weekly check to go to outback and eat, dont go. Come on guys stop wanting a handout. As for all you kids with deadbeat parents, forget em and live your own lives or you will always have people dragging you down. Sucks that its family but live your own lives and rid yourselves of idiots who want a handout.

Ok, what is it this video is getting at? I can't tell. It appears to only show legal immigrants, with whom few people have any problem. I'm sure most people would agree that the US should welcome skilled immigrants who are willing to assimilate into our society. It's the illegal immigrants who come here and work under the table that most people find problematic. There is nothing in this video about solving the problem of illegal immigration.

....as for the immigrants....I think Americans are angry at the ones who will work for less pay and pay no taxes. We lose money both ways. I have seen them at toys for tots when I volunteered.... I cried for the American woman with 3 kids who couldn't take off work to get all the SS card and birth records she forgot when she left t 3 am to get in line but... the Mexican woman with 12 kids and 5 last names all with SS cards??? who didn't speak a word of English... nor did ANYONE in her family... she cleaned up on toys for tots..??/ that happened 3 times in 1 day.... I had to leave because I just couldn't watch it anymore. Those poor woman were n tears as we turned them away in their own country and their kids went without. If I lived with 15 people in my 3 bedroom house...I would get turned in to CPS. You all may not like it but It is the truth.

Government as a Pawn to bolster political power and money at the expense of
us tax payers. They are also in many cases being used to boost the profits of
the business that employ them via cheap labor. In some cases the work and
living conditions have been found to amount to Slave labor conditions. The
Federal Government refuses to act because the current situation benefits them.
The States try to act and get stopped by the Federal Government. Yes, the Federal Government has plenty of law cases backing them up. But those same
laws also say they should act. The only way to get them to act is via voting into
office people who will act. That is the job of us citizens. If enough people start
voicing their opinion and voting to force government to act then they will act or
face loosing more support then they gain through this purposeful inattention.
This needs to be done on the Federal Level because it is the Federal
Government that should act in this area not the States.

For all the vocal opposition to each other it is interesting that the Tea Party
scored so well that last election via people upset Government cannot work
together. And now we have these Tea Party representatives unable to work
together with the rest to solve a problem that effects us the People. Any one
remember the Yes We Can slogan during Obama’s run for office. I’d say no
none of them can. The reason is simply. It is called Power and control. The
funny thing anyone ever in business would tell you that a business in trouble has
to cut expenses and increase revenue. But not these brain dead fools who act
like We the People are the Brain Dead ones. Here is an interesting fact a bit of research on your part will tell you. If they do nothing they are in violation of the
very Constitution which has plenty to say about Congress its actions, and taking
care of debit. Remember the dollar Bill: Legal for all debits public and private.
And yet, these fools want to each blame the other side as the problem when in
fact it is both parties who are the problem.

As President, Ron Paul will lead the way out of this crisis by:

    * Vetoing any unbalanced budget Congress sends to his desk.

    * Refusing to further raise the debt ceiling so politicians can no longer spend recklessly.

    * Fighting to fully audit (and then end) the Federal Reserve System, which has enabled the over 95% reduction of what our dollar can buy and continues to create money out of thin air to finance future debt.

    * Legalizing sound money, so the government is forced to get serious about the dollar’s value.

    * Ending the corporate stranglehold on the White House.

    * Driving down gas prices by allowing offshore drilling, abolishing highway motor fuel taxes, increasing the mileage reimbursement rates, and offering tax credits to individuals and businesses for the use and production of natural gas vehicles.

    * Eliminating the income, capital gains, and death taxes to ensure you keep more of your hard-earned money and are able to pass on your legacy to your family without government interference.

    * Opposing all unfunded mandates and unnecessary regulations on small businesses and entrepreneurs.

These are just a few of the steps we can take to put America back in place as the world’s leading economy. Taking a stand for these principles has often been a lonely fight in Congress for Ron Paul, but, now more than ever, our nation needs a President who will champion sound money, responsible spending, lower taxes, and free market enterprise.

Pay for your own college education. Don't ask me or anyone else, including the government, to pay for it. Same with a house or car. If you can't afford it, then you can't buy it. If you don't believe a job will be available in the field you study, consider another field, or a community college, or technical school. Jobs are available if you choose the right career and prepare yourself well. You then will be able to repay loans you get for the education. Good luck.

No we won’t ask you. We’ll just tell you.

Same with a house or car. If you can't afford it, then you can't buy it.
Right, we can agree on that.

If you don't believe a job will be available in the field you study, consider another field, or a community college, or technical school.
Yes, great idea for government program. Invest in education then more people will be able to afford those cars and houses. You’re a genius.

Jobs are available if you choose the right career and prepare yourself well.
      Good advice.

You then will be able to repay loans you get for the education.
No loans. We all pay for education collectively. Yes you too.
    • Davidius Rex 3 mths ago
Hey Richard! You'll tell me to pay for your college education? Don't think so. Yes, we pay collectively for elementary and secondary education. We do not pay collectively for college and grad school, or technical school. You get a loan, you pay, or you do not attend. Personally I resent paying for pre-school education. If mom cannot afford to take care of her child or pay for child care, she should not have the child. Spoiled Americans today want someone ELSE to pay for everything. Apparently you fit into that category. Want a Master’s degree or PhD or BA or #$%$ Get it on your own tab, not mine!

Is this a campaign announcement for Obama?
  • Starguy  •  Sacramento, California  •  3 mths ago
When you have Liberal Democrats writing the scripts for tripe like "Remake America" you always get the wrong questions. The right questions are: Does the Federal Government even belong in Education? Forgiving student loans (and who pays then?)? Does America NEED to be REMADE or does it just need to shut down about 75% of the Federal Government and return that money to the States, which would build a healthier economy?
Yes....the Government should provide us with EVERYTHING....RIGHT!
  • Willie Oleson  •  3 mths ago
Ironic. The little snippet shown of Obama is obviously old. Nancy Pelosi was the Speaker of the House. Now, ask yourself, what has Obama done to ease the burden of student loans in all that time? Nothing. Just like so many other weighty issues, he's promised relief and delivered nothing. If I could, I'd like to smack some young people (Obama's targets) and tell them to wake up. He promises everything and delivers nothing. A big factor for sky-rocketing college loans is due directly to the state of the economy, not just education. The state of the economy is in direct ratio to the manipulation of the Fed. That institution has enormous influence over the cost of just about everything. One of Obama's top stooges, Turbo Timmy Geithner, is a liaison between the Whitehouse and the conglomorate of banks that make up the Fed. Students are being fleeced by the very man who pretends to champion them, and they continue to vote for him. Isn't it well beyond time he's shown some improvement and given his incessant campaigning a break? I'd have hoped that young people attending college would be smarter than that.
Obama is not a students friend.

If all stock trading companies, Gov Agencies, Schools, Hospitals, City, State, and Federal workers were able to pay 50% of the cost for there emplyee's education and pay the student a subsidized salary or rate becasue of the education benifis then the Debts would not be that high. The company would use that as a tax write off and they would have workes loyalty and the companies would be able to continue to grow with educated and motivated people. You have to sign agreements that you will not change to a different company and if you are fired then you will be responscible for repayment of the last symester vouchers. Temp to perm employmen, ON-the job training so that workers and go to school and work as an intern until the degree is accomplished. There are many people who would love to change jobs or career fields but dont know if they can do it. This would give everyone a chance. classes can be offerend during lunch at companies. If they don't have what it takes then they are fired. More people would work and would go to school if they knew they would have a job to survive. Companies should invest in the future of the company and invest into their employees.

I went to college for drafting... when the recession hit I was considered a luxury and disposable as were many K &B designers. After being unemployed for 2 yrs I now work at a department store earning less than 1/2 of what I had previously earned. We barley make it now, I can't imagine paying on student loans right now.
