The report that T-Mobile CEO John Legere has been waiting for is finally here. According to OpenSignal’s crowd sourced data from the second half of 2013, T-Mobile provides the fastest LTE speeds of any carrier in the United States. Using the most recent data, OpenSignal puts T-Mobile above AT&T , Verizon and Sprint . Collecting data from 6 million users, OpenSignal focused on the download speeds and the time spent with access to an LTE network.

IOS 8 Adoption Off To A Slower Start Than IOS 7, Say Multiple Usage Trackers
According to numbers from a variety of mobile OS usage monitoring platforms, the iOS 8 installation spike is high, but lower than that for iOS 7 last year. Chitika , Tapjoy , Mixpanel and Appsee all show adoption numbers that, while high, fall short of the rocketing pick-up rate we saw when Apple launched its major visual overhaul of iOS just ahead of the iPhone 5s launch in 2013. Mixpanel and Appsee’s live iOS 8 update tracker both show an adoption rate of between 16 and 17 percent, which represents the total percentage of users on iOS 8 that are running the apps which use their mobile analytics products.

Institutionals To Get Lion's Share Of Alibaba Spoils
People familiar with the situation said, big institutional investors like Blackrock will likely get the bulk of roughly $22 billion worth of Alibaba Group Holdings shares being sold in an initial public offering set to price later on Thursday. The sources said, by restricting the allocation so narrowly to large institutions, the underwriters on the IPO hope to prevent volatile trading of the Chinese e-commerce company's shares after expected trading begins Friday and in the weeks to come. Mutual fund company Fidelity said on its website, Alibaba, which handles more transactions than Amazon.com Inc and eBay Inc combined, is expected to price within the $66 to $68 per American depository share range.

Johnny Weir's Hubby Sues-- He Said I Had Herpes And Tried To Rape Him
Olympic skater Johnny Weir spins lies as easily as he performs triple salchows ... according to hubby Victor Voronov -- who's suing Johnny for accusing him of attempted rape and contracting an STD. Victor -- who's in the middle of an ugly divorce from Johnny -- filed court docs accusing Weir of spreading salacious lies during an interview on "Access Hollywood" to talk about their divorce. During the interview, Weir said Voronov "asked me to lay with him in the biblical sense, and when I refused, the altercation between us started." According to Voronov's court docs ... that translates to attempted rape. Voronov also claims Weir slandered him in a fit of jealousy ... texting a friend to accuse Voranov of having herpes ... or some sort of sexually transmitted disease. Voronov -- says it's all BS -- he never tried to rape Johnny and is as clean as a whistle -- and that Weir is trying to subject him to scorn and ridicule. He's suing for unspecified damages.
