Bakersfield racked up more than a quarter of an inch of rain today making it the wettest day of the year so far. Other valley locations recorded around a tenth of an inch of rain while mountain and foothill sites collected almost an inch. More showers are in line for tonight and Friday but the totals won't reach this morning's levels. 20-Percent chances of light rain exist for for the weekend but we'll see more sunshine each afternoon.
